Private or Independent Schools

Master Maths is affiliated with ISASA : the largest association of independent schools in South Africa and the Southern African region. Independent schools are also known as private schools. ISASA schools provide quality, value-based education to over 152,000 pupils. They deliver fifty professional services to its almost 700 diverse school members.

We have many learners enrolled in private schools. We do not replace the maths teachers at these schools, since the level of education is already at a very high standard. The fact is that we are not constrained by the normal difficulties of a classroom, and offer supplementary maths for those who require individual attention (if you are a 20% or 80% learner).

Homeschooling

Master Maths has many learners that are being schooled at home. Our system is based on the South African curriculum, and is thus ideal for home schooled learners. All South African learners have to write the same grade 12 maths examination at the end of the year. The M2 system will ensure that the correct work is covered and that learners answer the questions in the manner which examiners expect of them.

The M2 system also teaches independent problem solving, which is an essential skill for learners who receive homeschooling. We find that home schooled learners relate to the system with ease since they are used to searching for solutions with limited assistance (effective tutor involvement).
