Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa

ISASA is the largest association of independent schools in South Africa and the Southern African region. Independent schools are also known as private schools. ISASA schools provide quality, value-based education to over 152,000 pupils. ISASA delivers fifty professional services to its almost 700 diverse school members.

Association of Private Providers of Education, Training and Development

Established in 1997, APPETD is the national body representing the interests of private providers of ETD in South Africa. It has come to be recognised as an ethical body that works toward establishing and maintaining the highest standards of education and training throughout the industry.

Formed by APCSA, APDEC, ATP and INPROV, the Association provides several chambers to cater for the diverse interests and needs of its members: face-to-face, distance, training, ABET, Early Childhood Development provider institutions.

The Association for Mathematics Education of South Africa

AMESA is the professional association of mathematics educators in South Africa. AMESA is the voice of Mathematics Education in South Africa, representing the interests of the discipline and its members at provincial and national level.

Franchise Association of South Africa

FASA has been the guiding force of franchising in South Africa and the growth and stability of the sector is largely thanks to the work that FASA has done over the years to promote ethical franchising. Those who are members of FASA have voluntarily made a commitment to abide by the ethical standards laid down by FASA and the international franchise community. Associated Distributors of Educational Supplies in Southern Africa

Formed in 2003, ADESSA is a body representing educational suppliers in their dealings with government departments, educational institutions and other interested parties. It is an independent organisation, and is funded by subscriptions from member companies.

There are currently over 40 companies that are members of ADESSA. ADESSA as an association promotes professionalism amongst its members, and aims to deliver an edge in education. It also offers member companies one powerful unified voice in dealings with educational institutions and other organisations.
