Google Analytics is a piece of software that grabs data about my visitors (you). It’s something like an advanced server log.
What does Google Analytics record?
- What website you came from to get here.
- How long you stay for.
- What kind of computer you’re using.
- And quite a bit more.
- What do we do with your data?
When you visit our sites a Double Click cookie will also be sent to a temporary file on your computer. As you browse the internet, Google collects data and compiles a profile of you as a browser. Though algorithms they are able to estimate certain of your demographic data such as your age range, gender and general interests. We then get reports in Google Analytics on these demographical aspects of our visitors. We do not have accesses to your personal information, and will simply use this ‘estimate’ from Google to improve our website and your browsing experience.
The tracking information allows us to better understand the kind of people who visit our sites and what content they’re reading. This allows me to make better decisions about design and writing.
Occasionally, I will compile aggregate statistics about the number of visitors this site receives and browsers being used. No personally identifying data is included in this type of reporting.
All our activity falls within the bounds of the Google Analytics Terms of Service.

Google Adwords Remarketing:
Google Adwords is the official Google advertising tool. This software is used to serve ads you, the browser, when you are using the Google search engine and network. In order to remind browsers to complete certain actions once they have visited our websites, Google Adwords will also collect browser data. Similar to Google Analytics, Adwords used cookies (tacking software) to track users.
The data is then used to serve ads to previous visitors via third party vendors (other websites using Google display ads). We use this function to mainly remind historic visitors to make an appointment with their closest centre after the initial visit.

Google Adwords conversion tracking
We do this in order to improve our online advertising strategy and to make sure we don’t waste the public’s time and our money on unnecessary advertising.
