I, Reon Visser, serve as the acting owner and full-time tutor of the Master Maths Bronkhorstspruit centre. My passion to help children is what ultimately initiated the birth of the centre. As a qualified Maths Teacher, I have been actively involved in both individual tutoring and public teaching of Maths and Physical Science for the past five years.

My work at the centre is focused on fixing existing problems in the learner’s understanding (originating from previous years) through hours of practice. However, we also need to keep up and prepare the learner for the current year’s content and tests. I question learners daily about their programmes at school. This is essential to make sure they are prepared for each school test to come. This process enables us to improve on learners’ results.

A positive mentality about Maths and Physical Science is encouraged in my centre. This principle is enabled through practice and building up of the learner’s confidence. Once high levels of confidence are achieved, learners’ motivation is strengthened that eventually flows over to their results.

Reporting on all day-to-day work in the centre to parents is also integral to my daily routine in the centre.
